Indian sandstone patio garden in Great Missenden

Picture
This garden is a great example of how Indian sandstone can compliment brickwork in the garden.
The garden wall is built with old stocks to create a warm corner of the garden on the south side creating a micro-climate. The garden lighting will create a warm glow at the bottom of the garden at any time of the year. The planting scheme will make use of the micro-climate using palms and cannas for a jungle feel. Exotic planting can sometimes be a problem when carrying out landscaping projects with in the Chiltern areas of Buckinghamshire. The high elevations mean we can suffer drastically lower temperatures than the urban areas of London.  None the less the southern slope of the gardens position makes this garden a warm piece of joy for Mr & Mrs Harper.
