Landscaping apprenticeship jobs in Buckinghamshire
Ecospaces & Buckinghamshire Landscape Gardeners are seeking landscaping apprentices. The ideal candidates will be someone interested in nature and external construction.
The successful candidates will gain hands on experience in building a whole range of landscapes and outside spaces. Some of the skills obtained will be working with levels, groundwork, drainage, surfacing, tiling, paving, masonry, paving, rendering, cladding and external timberwork.
Landscaping apprentices will gain experience in working off plan and converting drawings into built landscapes. You will work directly with a skilled landscaper with over 20 years of hands on landscaping experience. We have a keen interest in training up enthusiastic talent to fully fledged skilled trades people.
The majority of projects you will work on will include; garden design and builds, landscape drainage, wildlife gardens, paving projects, sustainable landscaping and planting.

Criteria
- Enthusiastic about physical work and working outside with your hands
- Passionate about nature and sustainability
- Physically fit and robust to carry out labouring tasks at a reasonable pace
- Somebody who can communicate well with a positive temperament
- Somebody who can get themselves to the site punctually 5 days a week
- An understanding that work can be weather permitting
- Eager to learn with a desire to succeed in what they do
- A precise attention to detail and an eye for a neat finish.
Areas of operation
Our primary areas of operation are South Buckinghamshire. Ideally our landscaping apprentices will be able to travel to Amersham, Chesham, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Northwest London.

Working Hours
7.30am – 4.30pm
Pay
The one month trial period will be paid at a rate of £300 a week.
On acceptance as an apprentice you will start on £400 a week.
As you become more experienced your pay will reflect your gained skill level.
Process
After a telephone interview successful candidates will be given a paid one month trial period. After the trial if a candidate is deemed to have the correct qualities they will start working with us.
They will then begin their mentorship to becoming a skilled landscaper.
